Railroads in Birmingham and the Steel City Division

The City of Birmingham exists because of the railroad and steel industries. There have been more than 25 railroads that have made their presence known in this area. Real railroads inspire and motivate model railroaders in their efforts, whether their model railroads are based on a prototype or are purely fictional. This rich history helps make Birmingham a perfect place for model railroaders to thrive.
