STEEL CITY DIVISION

This is the Birmingham Southern Model Railroad owned by Craig Gardner. This is an industrial railroad based on the real Birmingham Southern Railroad as it existed during the 10 years up to 2012 when it was sold to Watco. It features Fairfield Yard, the Birmingport Branch with port terminal facilities, the Miller Power Plant, a couple of coal mines and several steel related industries. It also has a parallel Class I railroad with two interchanges. About 60% of the scenery is complete.

 

HO scale: 30' x 15'  walk-in around the wall layout with central peninsula: partial lower level with two helixes.
